There is much more to the scrawny street urchin, Nadia, then meets the eye.  When Prince Kieran meets her, he senses that she has hidden magic within, but he has no idea what he is about to get himself into.  He blackmails Nadia into helping him escape the city and join the rebel forces who are massing against his stepsister.  treacherous terrain, filled with many dangers, both natural and magical.

It is not long before Nadia’s hidden past and extraordinary power becomes evident. She carries a unique Elvish locket and an unusual dagger that hint to her past and future.  Her powers are beyond comprehension. The mystical creatures both good and evil recognize her potential and begin to emerge from the shadows to either align themselves with her, or to try and stop her.

Even within the walls of the rebel Fortress of Chriton she is not safe.  As Nadia’s power grows, so does the danger from Queen Moira.  War is coming and Nadia is the key to preventing the destruction of their world.
